New Brake Discs
The brake system of the sports coupé is now working with large internally ventilated brake discs wave. The steel friction rings with its wave-shaped outer contour are perforated and connected by pins to the aluminum brake discs - this design reduces tensions, dissipates the heat quickly and prevents the transfer of temperature spikes. Furthermore, the newly designed shape of the friction rings leads to a weight reduction of total zirca three kilograms and thus improves the balance of the unsprung masses.

The RS 5 can customize with numerous extra cost. So to have the engine compartment for a carbon design package for the body styling packages are available in black or matt aluminum look.
